Bodyguard-Movie Review

Cast: Slaman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Raj Babbar
Director: Atul Agnihotri
Rating: * * * *

Its again Slaman Khan’s movie to start the festive season , yeah , I refer to Dabangg and Wanted releases in the yester years. And this funda has worked for Slaman Khan to make a big come back with occasion of EID. Bodyguard so far has been estimated to break all the records of Salman Khan’s movies and rightly said so.
Story:  As depicted in the trailers Slaman has been punctual and loyal without any match to him . Salman named as Lovely in this movie is assigned the job Bodyguard to guard beautiful college girl Divya(Kareena Kapoor: do I need to mention this?).Divya is daughter of business tycoon Sartaj Rana(Raj Babbar). Lovely has been very protective which is taken as a burden by Divya who feels Lovely to be a big hurdle in her college and personal life. Just to add masala in this movie which is an essential part of all Salman’s recent releases , Divya plans to get rid of him by trapping him into a fake love. She pretends to be in love with Lovely and she can not live without him and she wants to pend entire life with him. She is well supported by her friends too who were feel the same obstacle about Lovely.

The movie takes a romantic turn before the next addition of Lovely’s dishoom dishoom funda. But things take an unexpected turn when she learns a few things about Lovely. Things that she could've never even imagined. And she soon finds herself trapped in a dilemma that she's unable to resolve. And with her, soon enough, Lovely finds himself trapped in a web of lies, trickery and deceit.
Salman's fans are sure to lap this knockout performance in a big way. BODYGUARD would be incomplete without Kareena's contribution. Some roles are tailor-made for actresses who can deliver with aplomb and who better than Kareena to infuse life in a challenging character. She looks gorgeous [as always] and gives this character the dignity that it deserves. Raj Babbar is perfect. Mahesh Manjrekar is as usual. Aditya Pancholi, in a cameo, stages a welcome comeback. He's first-rate. Rajat Rawail is a joy to watch. He's truly funny. Hazel is quite good. Asrani and Vidya Sinha are okay in their respective parts. But unexpectedly there is a shocker for you  immediately after the pee break and at the beginning of climax. This might be considered as Salman’s  best performances in recent times
Conclusion, there can not be any other movie so perfectly timed to start this festive season, full marks to screenplay, capitivating music and Salman does the rest to hit the box office with another stunner.Oho I missed Kareena who fills the space of an actress just like any other movie. You should not miss this!!!!!
